Hi, yup. I'm still alive. Poor DA. I have been so sparing with it in the last few years. The same could be said of my writing -- the output I once had has dwindled so significantly. I think being a teacher pulls a lot from the same place as being a writer (as a colleague of mine said, we need empty space to let the art develop and then to write it, and teaching usually takes up too much space), and I just am not writing as often.

And all of my recent poems have 0 comments on them. I guess that's what happens when you stop being so active on the site. I do kind of miss the days where I had more interaction here, but nothing seems to be bringing me back as much.
I've come to the end pretty soon of my time teaching English in Hungary, and I've basically completed the second chapbook I started working on and was last mentioned in the previous journal entry that is over a year old. At least, I have the complete manuscript but I don't know what I'm going to do with it. Last time when I self-published I went to a nice paper company, I made the designs and I stitched the

Chapbook Number 2
Well, I'm not sure if anyone will much care for this one, but I found a binder with a collection of poems that all had a similar theme and some repeating images told in different light that I had strung together a few weeks before starting grad school and then abandoned because...grad school. Now that I've graduated, I'm currently making substantial edits in an effort to put together another chapbook of poems. If anyone is interested in reading the manuscript when I am finished with the next few edits and giving me some feedback, it would be greatly appreciated (plus noted in the Acknowledgement sections, of course).
